INFOFLASH N°79 – Exhibition inaugurated on June 1, 2024 in Domburg (Netherlands) and dedicated to the Belgian luminist painter: Edmond Verstraeten (1870-1951)

The Impressionisms Routes© Network, of which the Domburg Museum is a member, is particularly pleased to promote this event which will continue during the summer and autumn of 2024 and until November 3.

The Friends of Edmond Verstraeten, whose headquarters are in Waasmunster, a town in East Flanders located near Ghent where the artist was born, are particularly active since we have already presented in this town in March 2023, the exhibition “Les Routes of Impressionisms in Europe” which was a great success and brought together several thousand visitors, including many students from educational establishments in the region.

A big thank to Francisca van Vloten, Curator of the Exhibition in Domburg and to Antoon Rumes, grandson of the Painter and Manager of the Association brilliantly bringing his works and his memory.

I hope that you will have the opportunity to go this summer of 2024 to Domburg, an authentic, multifaceted Artist colony, member of Euroart and Impressionnisms Routes©.
