Impressionism routes in Europe
The aim of the ‘Impressionisms Routes’ project in Europe is to create a link between the sites that inspired European Impressionist and Pleinairist painters from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century, the places where they lived, the places where they founded artists’ colonies and the towns and cities where their works are exhibited in museums and cultural centres.
