Impressionisms Routes© and the town of Bougival serving the training of young people
The exhibition “Impressionism in France and Europe” presented at the Espace Bouzemont in Bougival (Yvelines, France) from September 20 to 29, 2024 was the pretext for a remarkable educational operation carried out in cooperation with establishments of city education. During this “didactic” week, 15 classes representing nearly 400 students used the elements of the exhibition (paintings, explanatory panels, etc.) to perfect their knowledge of the Impressionist movement with the help of booklets published especially for them.
This initiative, which is part of the heritage development of the town of Bougival, responds to the wishes of the Council of Europe and its Cultural Routes (including the Routes of Impressionisms) which held its Annual Forum in Visegrad on the same dates (Hungary), dedicated to the training of young European citizens!
