INFOFLASH 107 – BOUGIVAL, Pearl of Impressionism, hosts the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes and the new exhibition “Impressionism in the Feminine”
To mark the European Heritage Days, the town of Bougival—a long-standing and active member of the Impressionisms Routes© network—is presenting two particularly original and engaging exhibitions at the Bouzemont Foundation. The first is dedicated to the approximately 34 European Cultural Routes that traverse France, while the second focuses on the most prominent female Impressionist artists.
Inaugurated on September 17, 2026, by Nathalie JAQUEMET, Mayor of Bougival—in the presence of numerous City Council members, Nicolas MONQUAUT (representing the Ministry of Culture), and Georges LUCENET (Vice-President and General Manager of the Impressionisms Routes network)—these exhibitions are set to generate great interest among the general public and younger audiences alike, fostering a deeper understanding of our continent’s historical, cultural, and artistic heritage.
The exhibition on European Cultural Routes, created and produced by the Ministry of Culture, has already successfully toured several French sites. Meanwhile, the “Impressionism in the Feminine” exhibition is slated for further development under the aegis of Impressionisms Routes©, with plans to tour European sites that are members of Euroart and Impressionisms Routes.
