A new guide for cultural tourism
Impressionism developed in Slovenia, generating a school of significant reputation and increasingly better known. The talent and fame of Slovenian artists such as Ivan GROHAR, Rihard JAKOPIĆ, Matej STERNEN and Matija JAMA have now gone far beyond the borders of this small European state.
In 2013, the exhibition “The Slovenian Impressionists and their times” presented at the Petit Palais in Paris made a strong contribution to discovering and highlighting these artists; Monique LUCENET, in her latest book entitled “The Routes of Impressionisms in Europe” – 2022 Council of Europe Literary Prize – devotes 4 pages to the Slovenian Impressionists…
