The Impressionism movement became a great phenomenon for Armenian painting, being extremely diverse in its stylistic features and artistic language.
"Armenian Impressionism", born in the second half of the 19th century on the basis of traditions of classicism and late realism, was fully developed in 1900-1910's finding its various manifestations in the work of Armenian artists of the late 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries.

Impressionisms Routes® will be present at the “Salon des Grands Voyages” which will take place on November 18 and 19, 2022 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. This event is a "high-end" tourism fair organized in a prestigious site near the Opera, in the heart of the French capital. It offers a rigorous selection of expert professionals, renowned for the quality of their offer and the standing of their services. It is aimed at a high - level audience in the spirit of the previous Salon organized in 2019 at the Carrousel du Louvre, in which Impressionisms Routes® participated with great success.
On September 7, 2022, the Impressionist House of Claude Monet was inaugurated by Georges Mothron, Mayor of Argenteuil, Vice-President of “Boucle Nord de Seine” and Honorary President, Founder of Eau & Lumière/Impressionisms Routes. Many personalities from the Paris Region were present, in particular: Philippe Court, Prefect of Val d'Oise, Florence Portelli, Vice-President of the Regional Council of Ile-de-France and Marie-Christine Cavecchi, President of the Departmental Council of Val of Oise.
The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe created in 1987, now numbering 48 covering 3,000 sites in 60 countries, awarded their annual Literary Prize to the Bilingual Book (French-English) by Monique LUCENET: "Impressionisms Routes in France and in Europe" The prize was officially awarded by Stefano DOMINIONI, Director of the Institute of Cultural Routes (Luxembourg) and Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement which today brings together 36 European countries, during the European Cultural Routes Training Academy which took place in Fontainebleau (France) from May 31 to June 3, 2022. This Academy, classified as an official event of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, brought together around a hundred leaders representing 32 routes and 17 different nationalities.

Labeled as an official event within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the 9th Training Academy of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe took place in Fontainebleau (France) from 31 May to 3 June 2022 under the best auspices and in the presence of Barbara ZECHES, Vice-President of the Administrative Council of the Enlarged Partial Agreement of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (36 Countries) and Stefano DOMINIONI, Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes and Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement of these same Routes.
The Institute of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe has decided to distinguish, for the year 2022, the bilingual book (French-English) by Monique LUCENET : Impressionnisms Routes in Europe.

The 4th International Travel and Tourism Fair will take place on the shores of Lake Geneva on April 2 and 3, 2022. Impressionisms Routes® is invited to present its new exhibition "Impressionisms in France and in Europe" on the occasion of this event in the Central Hall of the Palais Lumière and will have a Stand which will promote the ambitions and visibility of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe as well as that of the French and European members of the network to the general public.
The Route Cezanne, which connects Aix-en-Provence over 4.7 km to the village of the Tholonet, is the only road in France classified as a Historic Monument! It is to the friendship of André Masson and André Malraux that we owe this distinction made in 1959 which celebrates an exceptional site magnified and known throughout the world thanks to the talent of Paul Cezanne! As a source of inspiration, the Route has attracted many artists, writers, poets and philosophers who have been able to flourish in these places.

Impressionisms Routes® is in charge of the material and intellectual preparation of the next “Training Academy” which will bring together all the leaders of the 45 Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe from May 31 to June 3, 2022 in Fontainebleau.
The general theme of the debates will be: “Cultural Tourism and its future development”.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet and make contact. It received, I remind you, the label: "Official Event organized within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2022". It is supported by the French Ministries of Culture and Tourism.
The setting up of the Working Groups in charge of reflections on the essential themes of this Academy and the organization of the sessions is in progress: a meeting took place on January 17, 2022 which brought together around sixty leaders representing 39 Cultural Routes in presence of officials from the Institute of European Cultural Routes (Luxembourg) and the Ministry of Culture.

The publication, under the seal of the Council of Europe, in May 2021, of a bilingual book of 292 pages and more than 250 illustrations: Impressionisms Routes in Europe is one of the themes of this magazine with the project organization in May-June 2022 in the Fontainebleau / Moret-sur-Loing / Barbizon / Grez-sur-Loing area of The Summer Academy of all 40 European Cultural Routes on the theme of Cultural Tourism and of its post-Covid evolution.
Our commitment in the fields of environmental protection and the education of young Europeans is the subject of very interesting interviews with Maguelonne Dejeant-Pons, Executive Secretary of the European Landscape Convention of the Council of Europe and of Claude Vivier Le Got, President of the Education and Culture Committee of the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe.
Stefano Dominioni, Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (Luxembourg) has also agreed to answer our questions on the role of Impressionisms Routes© in the enhancement of the values of the Council of Europe and the interest it gives to the good organization of the next training academy of May / June 2022 in Fontainebleau.
